How to speed up progress


Doing all the right things but progress just feels SO SLOW?


Or


Feel like you should be further along with all your efforts recently?



I feel YOU!!!



Let's first touch on WHY progress might be SLOW



  • You're not actually being consistent

    • Be honest with yourself and reflect on your routine and reaching your weekly goals. Are you even making weekly goals?

  • You are consistent during the week, but not the weekend

    • Are you perfect with your nutrition and workouts during the week but using Friday/Saturday for a free for all?

  • You're consistent with the gym, but not nutrition

    • Are you on point with your lifts, but not tracking your intake? Nutrition is usually the biggest piece to the puzzle.

  • You're changing things up too much

    • Do you have a routine? Are you winging it? Are you doing different workouts each week or sticking to a progressive overload plan for 6-8 weeks and tracking your progress each session?

  • You're too scared/comfortable to actually make a big change

    • This is a BIG one. Are you even making a change? Have you had the goal to lose 10, 20, 30lbs for months, but the only thing you've changed in your routine is adding a vegetable? Bigger change needs bigger commitment.


Hopefully if you feel stuck you, this helped you to reflect and figure out the missing piece for your journey.



So if you're ready to speed up progress, here is what you can do:



  • Make the changes you need to

    • You know what this is, so do it! Wake up earlier. Get a plan. Hire the coach. Get the help you need.

  • Commit and go all in

    • Make the promise to yourself do not break it! You deserve your goals!

  • Be consistent

    • Actually check off the boxes daily. Start small and overtime changes will happen and they will compound!

  • Be patient

    • Take off the strict timelines. Just show up each day. Give your 100% effort and things will change.

  • Actually set a goal each week to work towards

    • !!!!!!!!!!! please please please do this!!!!!! Set weekly goals. SMALL goals. Check them off each week and after a month, 2 months, 3 months, you will be AMAZED by your progress with just the little weekly goals. Break down your BIG goal into bite sized manageable goals you can work towards each week. Before you know it, you will have passed your BIG goal and you'll already have a new one set!
