Supplements I take: Why and When

**Disclaimer: Supplements are not necessary, nor are there any magic powders or pills. Supplements are meant to "supplement" your diet. Fill in the nutrition gaps you may be missing in a your normal daily nutrition**




I feel like I always have to disclaim that, so no one goes straight to thinking that any supplement I take is going to transform their body or life. Because it's not. But I do want to share the supplements I take and why and maybe it can help you in areas you're lacking in your nutrition.



Another disclaimer, I take quite a few supplements, but I didn't start his way. I started very small with a multi vitamin, probiotic and fish oil. These are super beneficial for everyone and overall health in general.



I still continue to take those, but I had since added on to my supplement routine.



Protein Powder: Vegan or whey. I have a huge sweet tooth, so I love to add to my oats, smoothies, protein ice cream, protein pancakes, etc. to help me reach my daily protein goal.


FAV Whey Flavors: Smores + Cookies and Cream + Hot Chocolate

FAV Vegan Flavors: Chocolate Almond Coconut + Cinnamon Cereal


Glutamine: Always take in the morning on an empty stomach to help with digestion. It also helps with muscle recovery and immune health.


Creatine: I take everyday with my pre workout or MELT to help with muscle building, recovery and performance.


Pre Workout: I take everyday (stim or stim free) to help with focus, energy and to get blood pumping to my muscles extra!!

FAV Flavors: Dragon fruit + Rainbow Candy + Grapefruit


MELT: The fat burner I take during a dieting phase and even a reverse dieting phase and I build back up my intake. I prefer the stim free and I can take at any time in the day.

FAV Flavors: Stim Free Blue Raspberry + Stim Free Jelly Bean


Greens: I usually take my greens every night after dinner to help with digestion and help me get in more micronutrients that I miss in my daily eating. But they can be taken at any time in the day.

FAV Flavors: Peach


Red and Purples: I LOVE mixing with my greens at night to help with digestion. They also have a probiotic blend to help break down food, so it is important to eat around a meal. So refreshing and tastes so good!




Some others I take on occasion:


EAAS: Essential amino acids. Our bodies cannot make them, so we must consume through food. It is a nice refreshing way to get them in to help with muscle building and recovery.

FAV Flavors:Guava Nectarine + Pomegranate Acai


Sharp: Nootropic to help with focus and concentration. The ready to drink energy drinks are my ABSOLUTE FAV!!! NO energy drink tastes better and makes me feel better!!

FAV Flavors: RTD: citrus grapefruit
