How lifting weights can change the way your body uses and processes food

ree

More muscle = Less fat

HOW?

I'm sure you've been told that "lifting weights can change the way your body used and processes food", but maybe this will help it make sense and sink in.

As an average healthy human (that doesn't lift weights), we store a little bit of fat every time we eat. Yes, you heard that right.

About 85% of the carbs we eat are stored in our muscles, kidney and bloodstream and the other 15% is stored as fat.

But in an average healthy human that DOES lift weights, they can change those ratios. Because the more muscle they have, the more carbs they can use and store in their muscles.

They could get their percentage used and stored closer to 95% in muscles/kidneys/bloodstream and 5% stored as fat.

This blew my mind when I learned it, but it also made me MORE excited and lift more!

Lifting is not only helpful in shaping your physique, but it has so many more benefits for your overall health!

Hope this gets you excited to build muscle and your dream physique too!
